Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)
Prayer enables us to communicate with God and is therefore central to our Christians lives. Prayer is a critical part of all our church services. In addition, our weekly house groups will normally spend part of their session in prayer. During most weeks, we also provide the opportunity for anyone to come along and pray with us, at the following times:
- Mondays 9.00 am Morning Prayer
- Tuesdays 9.00 am Morning Prayer
- Tuesdays 7.30pm Open Prayer
- Wednesdays 9.00 am Morning Prayer
Each month we create a prayer diary which contains a prayer request for each day. We hope that as many people as possible will use this and pray for the issues it contains. In addition, our weekly notices sheet contains prayer requests for those who are sick and for those who have recently lost a loved one.
Part of our mission is to pray for you and we are very happy for you contact us with requests for prayer in any of the following ways:
- By phoning the vicarage on 01942 727275
- By sending a text to 07877704645
- By filling in our online form
- By emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Our churches have a small team of people who receive prayer requests by email and text and pray for the people who have requested prayer. If you would like to be part of this important ministry then please email Sue Thomas or text her on 07877 704645. We prefer it if as many as possible people receive the requests via email but are happy to accommodate anyone who prefers texts.
Members of our churches lead prayers at most Sunday services and more volunteers would be very welcome. If you would like to take part then please contact us.
