It all starts with Sunday!
At St. Thomas’ and St. Luke’s we know that Sunday’s are special. It may be time for family, friends and food but we also want to make sure that we remind ourselves that God loved us so much, he did something special for us. Jesus’ death and resurrection continue to impact our world because at the heart of the these historical events is the truth of God’s love. We always benefit from reminding ourselves of this love and that’s why everything starts with Sunday!
We are all different and we all have different needs. When it comes to worship, we want to help people relax and focus on God by creating an environment that they are comfortable with. Some of our services are quite traditional and may use older style words and Bible readings (great for those who enjoy the depth and poetry of worship), while people who enjoy a more lively service or for those with children, may enjoy our family services which feature more modern ‘songs’, Bible versions or alternate styles of worship featuring visual arts like drama, dance, puppets or a host of other interactive elements of worship.
Regardless as to personal ‘taste’, everyone is welcome to join us for worship. In any of our services, we are considering God, who he is, what he has done and what he wants to do for us in the 21st Century. Regardless of the ‘style’, He is always the focus of what we do.
